Yoga is an ancient system of health and well being that aims at bringing a balance of body, mind and spirit. Courses introduce participants to some basic principles of Yoga philosophy, various postures - physical exercises for muscle toning and flexibility, and an introduction to meditation. A great opportunity for improving overall health, and learning strategies for combating stress related illnesses - anxiety disorders, depression, hormonal disorders etc...  The breathing exercises revitalize the body and help to control the mind, leaving you feeling calm and refreshed, while the practice of positive thinking and meditation gives increased clarity, mental power and concentration. 

Marcela has been a Yoga practitioner for over 30 years, having started her training at the Sivananda Yoga Center in Montreal, and complementing her practice with various other disciplines. Which include the Tibetan Rites of Longevity; consisting of a series of six exercises for muscle toning and for stimulating the endocrine system.  

Marcela believes in a non-intrusive, gentle and compassionate approach to body care and maintenance. She focuses on helping participants find balance, introducing people to the concept of a holistic lifestyle.
